"Lurch-Lost at Sea" is inspired by the emotions experienced in distress similar to the feeling of being lost at sea. It is only through constant remembrance of God and gratitude for all his favors comes the realization of the mercy of the Almighty.
The Arabic text is a verse from Quran (Surah Rahman 55: 16 ) and Surah Luqman (31:27) the translation reads :
- “Which of the wonders of your Lord's favors will you then deny?”
- “If all the trees on earth were pens, and the ocean were ink, replenished by seven more oceans, the writing of Allah's Words (His wonderful signs and creations) would not be exhausted; surely Allah is mighty and wise."
It is a prayer meant to remind us of all the beauty in the world created by God.
Looking at this art everyday will remind you of the fragile nature of human existence and that God is merciful and is always there to rescue you in difficult times.
