Mixed media painting stretched on gallery wrapped canvas. Hand painted with acrylics with metallic golden and silver leaf, charcoal and textured with modeling paste and  beach sand, rocks and sea shells hand picked form the shores of Lake Huron.

Concept:

Inspired by the Journey of Prophet Noah (Hazrat Nuh) in his Ark and his prayer for his parents and believers, who placed their trust in him and God (Allah) and embarked on a journey of belief and started a new life in a new world.

"My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction."

رَبِّ اغۡفِرۡلِىۡ وَلِـوَالِدَىَّ وَلِمَنۡ دَخَلَ بَيۡتِىَ مُؤۡمِنًا وَّلِلۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ وَالۡمُؤۡمِنٰتِؕ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظّٰلِمِيۡنَ اِلَّا تَبَارًا - Surah Nuh 

Quran - (71:28) 

Story of Prophet Noah transcend all religions and his message is celebrated equally by all Abrahamic religions. The story of Noah (Nuh) teaches humanity to be steadfast in hardships and to believe. Noah spread the word of God far and wide but was met with ridicule and contempt. He carried on his mission to spread God's word for many years regardless. The message that there is a reward promised by God, is a common theme in all Abrahamic religions.
