This painting is an abstract rendition of the famous four prayers of Prophet Musa from Surah Taha to seek confidence, ease task, remove his affliction of speech.
"O my Lord! Open for me my chest (grant me self-confidence, contentment, and boldness). and ease my task for me, and loosen the knot from my tongue. So that they may understand my speech"
Quran (Ta-ha - 20:25-28)
A reminder that no matter how dire circumstances might feel , a heartfelt plea to God in the form of a prayer might just ease a heavy heart and give courage to keep up the fight against any adversity faced. Although his speech was afflicted, and he was going against the most powerful opposition in the form of the pharaoh, Musa knew that God could grant him the miracle he needed if only he believed. God would see his ship through rough waters if he called out to him. And his Lord did just that.
These prayers are recited to seek reassurance, remove anxiety and success from Allah.
